BISHOP MUSEUM

Visit the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum to have a glimpse of the native Hawaiian history. This museum designated as the Hawai’i State Museum of Natural and Cultural history, is located in the historic Kalihi district in Honolulu. Founded in 1889, it is the largest museum in Hawai’i with an extensive collection of artifacts, periodicals, newspapers and special collections on Hawai'i and the Pacific.

DIAMOND HEAD

The Diamond Head volcanic cone is one of the most iconic landmarks in Honolulu located near the Waikiki strip. Diamond Head also offers a short hike for visitors that want to see the magnificent view of Waikiki from its peak. The hike takes 1.5 to 2 hours and is a great way to spend the day with friends and family.

HANAUMA BAY

Hanauma Bay State Park is one of Oahu’s most visited beach parks and is considered one of the best snorkeling spots in Hawai’i with its myriad and colorful marine life. It is a family friendly beach with all-day visiting hours. Hanuama Bay is a great snorkeling spot!

HAWAII CONVENTION CENTER

The Hawai’i Convention Center is a premier convention and exhibition center on Oahu, located in Waikiki. Hosting a wide array of events, the Hawai’i Convention Center is a great place to mix business and pleasure.

IOLANI PALACE

If you wish to learn more about Hawai’i’s local history, ‘Iolani Palace is the place to visit. It is the official residence of Hawai’i’s monarchy and is a marvel of opulence, innovation and political intrigue. Meticulously restored to its former magnificence, this National Historic Landmark in downtown Honolulu tells of a time when their Majesties, King Kalākaua, who built the palace in 1882, and his sister and successor, Queen Lili’uokalani, walked its celebrated halls.

KUALOA RANCH

Kualoa Ranch located in the northeastern part of Oahu, is a 4000-acre ranch that offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. If you’re feeling adventurous, Kualoa Ranch offers zip lining, horseback riding, water activities, and jungle expeditions. The ranch was also a great back drop for Hollywood movies such as Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, and most recently Godzilla. Dr Gerritt P. Judd, a personal adviser to King Kamehameha III, purchased the land in 1850, and The Judd family is still the owners of the land today.

NORTH SHORE - HALEIWA

North Shore Oahu, well-known for its ginormous waves is often the site for major surfing competitions that people from around the world attend. With about an 1.5 hour drive from Waikiki, you can witness these incredible waves. Only a few minutes away visit the old town of Haleiwa and enjoy a refreshing, local favorite Matsumoto’s Shave Ice.

USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL

The USS Arizona Memorial located in Pearl Harbor marks the resting place of 1,102 sailors and marines killed on USS Arizona during the Japanese surprise attack on December 7, 1941. The memorial is visited by more the two million people annually accessible only by boat it straddles the sunken hull of the battle ship. Historical information and general visitor services are available at the USS Arizona Visitor Center.
